Weston’s Slime Blog

Hi everyone,

I thought I would share how I like to make slime if anyone wants to know.

All you need is 3 things...
Borax
PVA Glue
Water

Here is the link for the recipe...

This is not only fun to make but it's a science experiment too. When you add the activator it changes from a runny liquid to a solid!

It fits perfectly in this little container so I can play with it when I want too and put it back when I'm done.

I hope everyone is having fun at home,
Stay safe everyone!

  1. WoW! Weston that looks amazing! And it looks quite easy to make as well. Thanks for sharing the idea. I think I will have to do that with my kids too.

  2. Hi Weston, wow that slime looks like so much fun to make! I can just imagine squishing it in my fingers. I think the children in Toroa would love playing with your slime! What was the trickiest part when you were making it? I hope you are enjoying time with your family in your bubble. See you when we are back at school! From Mrs Wales

    1. Hi Mrs Wales,
It’s super squishy. If you put less activator it is quite runny and if you put more it’s more hard like putty and makes funny noises. Oh yes they would love to play with it. The kneeding part was abit tricky I had to get my mum to help. I hope you are enjoying time at home too. See you soon. From Weston

    2. Hi again Weston!

Thanks for your reply. It is so interesting learning about slime from you. I will need to try and make it sometime. Maybe Toroa could make some during Discovery one day! That's great you had your mum there to help. I am enjoying my time at home thanks. But I can't wait to come back to school and see everyone!

  3. Hi Weston, Thanks for sharing your slime recipe! What a cool science experiment, that gives you something to play with as well. Have you made any different coloured slime? Do your sisters like to play with it too?

    1. Hi Mrs Walker,
I have made green and Last week I mixed blue, green and red together and it made grey slime. My sister’s haven’t played with it yet because my mum said they will want to eat it. But maybe when they are bigger.
I hope you are having fun at home, I can’t wait to come back to school.
