  4. Kia ora Isaac, I really, really like this project. You are learning lifelong skills there, so impressive! Keep it up.

Do you have a favourite vegetable salad?

When I was young I planted lots of vegetables and fruit trees with my parents. Great memories come from doing things like this, keep building those awesome memories, hehe and maybe when these beautiful vegetables are harvested you can share some pictures.

All the best, Miss Muriel :)

    1. Thanks Miss Muriel, We have fruit trees too. Feijoa, Mandarin, lime and lemon trees. We have got heaps of feijoas from our tree this year. Today we got nine feijoas. Do you still grow some fruit and veges?

My favourite vege salad is spinach, cucumber, capsicum, apple and carrot.

    2. Thank you Isaac for sharing what your favourite salad is, it sounds really delicious. And the yummy fruit that you grow sounds amazing.

Unfortunately I haven't grown vegetables in years because I've lived in several different countries, but I do grow succulents, at the moment they are a bit easier to move around with me.

Keep up the great work Isaac

  5. Hi Isaac, wow! What an awesome vege garden you have! It looks like your seeds have grown. How long did it take for the seeds to show some growth? I like gardening too, but I've never grown plants from seeds before. I brought some seedlings to plant in my greenhouse this week. I'm going to plant spinach, leeks, broccoli and a feijoa tree! Maybe next time I should grow them from seeds like you have. Thanks for sharing with us.

    1. Hi Mrs Walker, Some of the seeds popped up very quickly. The baby beets only took five days. The red onions took about a week. The parsnip took about two weeks. I hope you get lots of feijoas on your tree! From Isaac :)

    1. Hi Miss Ferguson, The sugarsnap peas and baby beets grow the fastest. The parsnips took ages to pop up. We thought they might not grow but we have 15 baby parsnip plants now. From Isaac :)
