Petra's Pesky Seagull

Hi Everyone

We have been very busy reading the Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch and Mr Gibson set us some really cool tasks to do.  I really enjoy making things, so I decided to have a go at the task of making a seagull out of recycled things.  Tell me what you think of my seagull!  I can't wait to see some other creations.

  1. Hey Petra, what a cool pesky seagull! I love the lighthouse keepers lunch story! So many great activities to do from the story and some excellent vocabulary! Can your seagull glide?

    1. Hi Miss Ferguson, I haven't tried to see if it glides, but great idea! I will give it a go this afternoon.

  2. Hi Petra.

What a cool seagull you have made from recycled materials. I wish I had the book at home with me. I'm curious, what is your seagulls wings made of? They look very flexible.

  3. Hi Miss Muriel, you can look the book up on YouTube and listen to it if you like. It's a great book. My seagulls wings are made from toilet paper rolls, in fact my whole seagull is made from two toilet paper rolls.
